I purchased a cruise with a travel agency. I noticed a credit to my account in July and received a zero balance statement. It’s now November. I’ve already been on my cruise and now they are saying they made a mistake and want to charge me the credited amount. Can they legally do this without my consent? Apparently they have my credit card information on file without my consent. Thanks for your help! I want to do the right thing but at the same time I don’t feel like I should have to pay for their mistake.

They already sent me the statement for a $75 annual fee with a min payment of $20 even before the card itself arrived. Can I just not activate the card and ask them to close the account?
