Can I reserve the car using this credit card and then when I return the car pay with cash or a debit card? I am probably using enterprise if that makes a difference

The Discover card has a 3% lower interest rate, but I wasn’t sure if it would be as easy to use as Visa. We’re signing the papers tonight, but since it’s after business hours they said it won’t go through until tomorrow. Does this make any difference?
