can i use a credit card to pay sec of state for new title transfer?

step dad just bought a new truck and wants to know if he can pay with a credit card cause i guess he forgot about the tax on the purchase amount. this is for michigan sec of state..anyone know? i didnt see anything on the web.

   In Virginia this type of VEHICLE TITLE transaction would require visiting Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), standing in meticulously long lines and YES our State DMV accepts crtedit cards.
