yes. you have to enter a card number. if you buy any songs you need an account and you need a number to create one.

you don’t need to. i didn’t need one with mine. go to apple.com and register. then sign into your Itunes using that. it should bypass whatever scam apple is up to now…

No if you have a gift card and try to redeem it you can make an account, it’s just you need to put in gift cards once the money from that one runs out into it again. There should be an option in payment method if you have done redeem and make a new account.

redeem the gift card first when you try it’ll ask for your username and password then from there make a new account and it’l list the gift card as the form of payment

you can also go to itunes and click on something to put in the gift card number

If you don’t have an account yet then just then just go to itunes on your far-right in the uper corner their should be a button named redeem click that it should work that way.

You don’t have to have a Credit Card all u need to do is go to walmart or Kmart and Buy a Itunes card almost $25 or $15 and $50 and go download Itunes and sign up with ur address and create a Password and type in ur Itunes Code on the back i hope this help.

sure there is.
open itunes. on the right side, there is a box that is labeled quick links. click on redeem. type in your redeem code and click redeem. you must set up an account but it does not require a credit card or such. good luck

You can create an account without credit card info in iTunes v. 8 through the App (not Music) store, according to Apple support - instructions below. Once created in this way, iTunes can be accessed for other features (I only use Podcasts and Radio myself.) Also, iTunes v. 6 does not require any personal ID, and is still available as an “older version” at FileHippo download service. It does not support video, however. Hope this helps.
