How long do I have to pay off a credit card bill?

I am about to use a credit card for the first time. After I recieve the bill in the mail, generally how long do I have to get the payment to the credit card company? Thanks alot.

   Marilyn

   You should check the bill- it should state when your monthly payments are due.

   However, you should pay the bill as soon as you can to avoid interest rate charges and other additional fees.
